An AI book editor that reads your whole manuscript and never rewrites you.

What is Hypercritica?
Hypercritica is an editing and publishing tool for novelists, memoirists and nonfiction writers. Fred, its AI editor, reads the whole manuscript first, up to 150,000 words, then writes a developmental letter and leaves editorial notes and suggested line edits. The writer accepts or rejects each one, and Fred never rewrites the book. The Manuscripts plan also includes Iris, a panel of AI beta readers chosen for the book, typesetting, cover design, a market fit read with an Amazon listing and query letter, and export to DOCX and PDF. Writers keep every right to their work, and it is never used to train AI. It is free to start with no card: 3 essays a month, or Fred marks up about 10,000 words of any book free for 7 days. Paid plans are $10 a month for essays and $50 a month for manuscripts. Hypercritica was called Wordsmith until November 2026.
